circling schools of Dogfish Tuna, Jacks, GT,
Barracuda. Record number of fish species
referenced to these sites. Chicken Reef: Diverse
range of soft and hard coral. Schools of Jack,GT,
Snapper, Sweetlips. .(4 dives)
Day 3: Waigeo Is. / Gam Is. The Passage: Drift
Passage between Waigeo and Gam Is.Caves
arches, bays along channel offers excellent
macro life. Encounter Javanese Cownose Ray
possible.Sardine Reef:active with pelagic schools.
Likely to see Wobbegong shark. Dazzling Giant
Sea Fans. Mike's Point: Islet wall drops 40M.
Large schools of pelagics. Explore for Pygmy
seahorse.(4 dives)
Day 4: Deer Is./ Kofiau Is. Deer Jetty: Muck dive
near the jetty.Encounter Nudibranch, Mantis
Shrimp,Crocodile fish.Visit local village. Walo
Passage: Drift dive and encounter big Grouper
and other pelagics. Walo Wall: Sloping wall
dive to view schools of Tuna, Trevally, and Jack
fish. Napoleon wrasse and Turtles. (3 dives )
Day 5: Misool Is grp Kaleidoscope: Sloping wall
,plentiful soft corals,. Mobula Rays, Bumphead
parrotfish, GT, Snapper,and huge Grouper,
Napoleon. Many species of Butterfly fish,
Damsels,and colorful wrasses. Gorgonian Passage:
Giant fans 3-4M, Possible encounter with Ghost
pipefish or Pygmy seahorse. (4 dives)
Day 6: Fiabacet. / Misool Is. grp Boo Is.: Large
shallow water swim through. Gorgonian fans,
barrel sponges,& whips. Wall with variety of
Nudibranch, sloping reef host to Sweetlips,
enormous Batfish, Surgeonfish,Unicornfish,
Damsels,Butterflyfish. Fiabacet reef: Angelfish,
Trevally,Turtles Banded sea kraits. (4 dives)
Day 7: Seram Is. Most impressive corals along
slope, Hunting Barracuda,massive Black spotted
ray, huge schools of Snapper,GT,Tuna. (3 dives)
Day 8: Banda Is. grp Sjahrir Is.: steep slope with
pristine coral garden, various fans, abundant reef
fish. Batu Kapal: slope to sandy bottom school of
Bumphead parrotfish, large grouper and Turtle.
Large barrel sponge. Lighthouse: excellent coral
growth after black lava flow with canyons and
valleys rich with staghorn and huge coral table.
Very colorful fishlife, Anthias,Damsels, Parrotfish,
Butterflyfish,Angelfish. (3 dives)
Day 9: Banda Is. grp Karang Hatta Is.: slope and
wall plentiful with schools of Snapper,GT,
Triggerfish, and a huge Napolean. Kampung Hatta:
Beautiful wall with great visibility, abundant
sponge, huge barrel coral, and fans. Huge Lobster
in overhang. (4 dives)
Day 10: Banda Is. grp Pulau Ai: Sheer walls,
spectacular coral condition, abundant fish numbers.
reposition to Bandaniera. Afternoon shore excursion.
Night dive. Bandaniera jetty: Mandarin fish. (3 dives)
Day 11: Banda Is. grp Bandaniera: diving at Lava
flow and the Lighthouse (2 dives) 12pm depart for
Ambon
Day 12: Ambon Is. arrive. Ambon port / debark and
transfer to Ambon airport.
